I began my career in conservation work in Utah and Colorado, where I worked on invasive species removal and fire mitigation projects.  Those early projects gave me a deep respect for nature, which I carry into my work today. 

I started working with a tree company in Bozeman, Montana in 2015 and was hooked! I moved to Durango in 2016 and have continued to work with trees throughout my time here via the Conservation Core, LPEA, and other tree companies. I decided to start Durango Tree Care in 2022 because I saw a need in the market for honest, affordable, and reliable tree care.

My main goal on every job is to help homeowners navigate the challenges of complicated tree work. I want every customer to be well-informed before the job and happy after the work is complete, while also giving the tree the best chance to continue to grow and thrive.

When I’m not working on trees, you can find me riding or running town trails, bikepacking with my wife Kiki, or playing with my pup Cheddar.
